A century ago, Arthur Saxon wrote his first of two books describing his simple
methods for developing genuine strength and power. While his methods were simple, maybe even crude by
today's standards, he explains in detail, with many
photos, how to do ten different unique lifts using barbells, dumbbells and kettle bells plus notes on ring and ball lifting.
You'll learn what it's like to lift 350 lbs with one hand! In addition, read about his early family life,
diet, world travels, and exploits, feats of strength, record lifts, and press releases regarding weight
lifting as well as his little known and highly successful wrestling career. A brief biography with
photos of his brothers Hermann and Kurt, who along with Arthur, comprised the famed Saxon Trio rounds out the book.
An eye witness account at the end of the book, by famous physical culture authority Thomas Inch
substantiates Saxon's claims. The rare photos on the front and back cover plus 45 photos and illustrations
