  • Early Weightlifting Contest


    • Here's a look at a lifting contest held in the early 1900's ~ quite a bit different than you'll find these days. That's the great Austrian strongman Karl Swoboda lifting the barbell front and center. I think I also recognize Hans Beck and Pierre Bonnes in the crowd.
