A Turn-of-the-Century Tradition Returns
An idea that has been bouncing around in my head for a long time now has been to have trading cards
of History's greatest strongmen. You see, back in the early 1900's they had small cards which,
ironically enough, came in packs of cigarettes that featured many great athletes of the day.
Sandow and other physical culture heroes were among them.
Well, we finally took the time to get that project started and who
better to start it off than "the man" himself: Eugen Sandow. Like any great trading card set,
we had to begin somewhere and tried a few different combinations, the first batch needed a few
adjustments but we do have quite a few of these prototypes left so what we are going to do is to
give them
away until they are gone.
That's right: you'll get one of these FREE with any order from this website until we run out.
The card you see below is just a little smaller than life-size and will be slightly different
than the finished cards (which aren't going to be like anything you've ever seen before.)
We will unveil the finished products sometime this fall but for right now you'll want to take this chance to get a
