One of the things that we have a lot of fun with around here is making short clips on some of our
favorite oldtime strongmen topics. It's a simple way to call attention to the things we find interesting
and important -- and I guarantee you have never seen the material presented like this before. These videos
may be a little rough around the edges but they will be fun to watch none-the-less.
Louis Cyrwas the greatest of the Canadian Strongmen. In this short clip you will learn about several of
his greatest strength feats and even see classic photographs of Louis Cyr in action.
They called him the "Iron Master" because he could put more weight overhead with one hand than
anyone before or since.
Fortunately Arthur Saxon wrote down exactly how he did it and you can learn to do
it too by reading his two classic training books The Development of Physical Power (1906) and
The Textbook of Weight Lifting.
