Marino! ~ Circus Busch

Posted on Monday, April 19th, 2021 by John Wood
Several fabulous posters for “Marino” appeared for the Circus Busch in the early 1900’s. Marino’s act always featured automobiles (which were relatively new and no doubt still a curiosity to the general public at the time) — he was either lifting them, or, as shown above, getting run over by one! Unfortunately we have no further information on Mr. Marino but something that we can tell you is that these posters were drawn by the famed circus poster artist Adolph Friedländer.
