Akio Hirai – The Strongest Man in Japan

It was at Osaka Station in April, 1935, that 34-year old Akio Hirai earned the right to call himself “The Strongest Man in Japan” by pulling a freight car loaded with 160 men a distance of 70 meters with a chain gripped in his teeth!
