PDF – Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are the advantages of PDF courses?
PDF downloads carry many advantages. Among them, the most obvious for the consumer are that they do not require any shipping costs and you can get almost instant access to the information that they provide after placing your order, even if you — literally — live on the other side of the world. Also, by making our newsletters and courses, etc available as PDFs, it means that we can come out with information on a much more frequent basis while circumventing things like printing errors and delays, rising postage costs, and lost orders. In other words, PDF downloads make it easier and more affordable for everyone to benefit.
2. Can I print my pdfs?
Yes you can — for personal use. All our PDF products are set in the highest resolution. You’ll be receiving the same file that would be sent to a professional printing company if we were to have them commercially reproduced. It would be an excellent idea to print and 3-hole punch our PDF courses and newsletters and keep them in a nice binder.
3. What do I do if I don’t have a printer?
You are on your own for this one. Someone you know will have a printer and I’m sure will be happy to print one out for you.
4. Can I get a replacement for my pdf orders if my computer crashes?
Sure, we could potentially do that for you in the event of a catastrophe. We have a record in our shopping cart system of your past orders so we should be able to help out in that regard.
5. Do I need any special software to view PDFs?
Yes and no – yes because you will need some form of the Adobe Acrobat viewer to look at PDFs. But “no” because this software is generally standard in almost every browser and operating system so you should be good to go in almost all situations. If you have any issues with viewing your PDF product, please feel free to reach out to us and we will help any way we can.
6. Can I read a pdf on my phone/pc/ipad?
Yes, as mentioned above, the software that will allow you to view PDFs is pretty standard across nearly every device. Once you download to your device, you will be able to read any of our PDFs any time you want. The only device that may provide a less than ideal viewing experience for PDF files is a KINDLE reader, but fortunately we have many of our titles available in the Kindle format.
7. Can I order a printed/hard copy version of your PDF products?
If you REALLY want us to print out a copy on our end of any of our PDF courses or newsletters, we can certainly do that but there will be additional fees (and shipping) involved.
8. How do I actually obtain the PDF product once I order it?
Upon completion of your order, a special link will be sent to your email so that you can download the PDF file to your computer or device. Be sure to download your PDF order immediately, this download link will be valid for 24 hours from the time that you submit your order.
Something to be aware of: at times some PDF orders placed through paypal may not show up correctly in our shopping cart. What happens is that while the order may go through successfully through Paypal, for whatever reason it may still ne registered as “declined” in our shopping cart so that download link, etc, is not sent. This is a known bug with Paypal and our shopping cart system which our service team has not been able to correct thus far.
To rectify this issue, we proactively manually double-check and confirm any orders placed through Paypal on our end. If we find that an order is incorrectly declined. we will immediately change the status and re-send the order download link. This process usually takes place within a few minutes of order placement so the that majority of the time, it is corrected quickly, seamlessly, and usually without you even knowing it. If this should happen to you for an order placed over night, during a major holiday, or any time otherwise outside of normal business hours, we will correct the issue as soon as we possibly can once we have a chance to get back into the office.
